Meet the Directors
Bill Moul, President
Sue Broughton, 1st VP, Newsletter Editor
Marian’s participation in Council work began in 1969, when the group formed as an activity of the North Area YWCA.Focus was on programs to inform and involve the region’s public in wise land use planning, protect air &water quality & encourage conservation. Over the years other specific groups branched out from the NAEC to focus on community trails and support the protection of natural lands. Marian’s continuous volunteer work with many of these local outdoor groups brings the satisfaction of seeing that a larger and stronger part of the current population enjoys continuing with these efforts now.
